THE IRONMAN EXPERIENCE

IRONMAN KONA QUALIFIER AND
NATIONAL ROAD RACE CHAMPION

DESCRIPTION: A day specially planned for any and all triathletes. Whether you are planning on doing your first ever event or trying to qualify for the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii, there will be something for everyone.
EVENTS:
1) A seminar held by our guest speaker Sally Price starting at 11am discussing her experience in everything from preparation for to actually competing in Ironman, Kona. This seminar is free but will require all participants to register. To do so please email ProFit@bikeauthority.com
2) For the first time ever!!!!! Ever wanted to ride the course you’re going to be competing at before you ever get there? Well now you can!!! Using our CompuTrainer system you can actually simulate the race before race day. Imagine if you rode the course at IM Florida, IM Lake Placid, IM Arizona or many others well before race day. Book time by the hour to come in and ride these courses at the shop.
3) Get a leg up on your competition by training with the right equipment throughout the winter. Special discounts on trainers, riser blocks, training DVD’s, winter clothing, tri bikes and wetsuits.
4) We will have the 2007 Ironman World Championships playing throughout the day.
5) First time Triathletes!!!! Here is your chance to learn the basics to having a successful triathlon. Sally Price will be offering an 8 week “Intro to Triathlon” program where you will get hands on instruction on the swim, bike and run. There will also be plenty of seminar time involved in order to answer any and all questions you may have. Registration for this course will be available during the “Ironman Experience”
6) Special raffles on Triathlon specific items.
7) Triathlon (and Sally’s) coach, Sean Gilbert will be on hand to answer any training questions you may have as well as any questions regarding hiring a coach.
