Happy Days Lodge, was the site of the last run! Thanks to the cold front and early morning rain, made for a cool and snowy evening. All and all, another great trail run in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, with the Fall colors still hanging on. For anyone who enjoys a challenging event series, put this one on your calender, for next year. Final results will be tailed up and announced with the awards fun run in two weeks.

Oak Hill Trail Head run was a great evening, although the cold winds from the north made for a nippy run. Interesting how you can show up for a race and have "four different distances to choose from", which has made for a very unique running series in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The best part about the evening, there were no major hills on the planned route's. Until next Tuesday at the Happy Days Lodge.

Friday nights "Full Moon Run" was another great event in the park. Since it was pitch black out and cold, I did not see many people there. As for the race, it was wild to see everyone running with headlamps on. One of the harder races, because the entire course was 90% hills running through the cross country ski course at Kendall Lakes.

Great weather for the second race at the Octagon Shelter, which made for a smooth run for all. Maybe not so smooth, with all the, rocks, roots, and bumps, hidden by all those Fall leaves...... I am sure I am not the only one who rolled the old ankles....

Station Bridge Trail Head in Brecksville, made for the start of the CVNPA Fall running series in its second season. Great weather complimented the race, although there was "Thunder and Lightning". Two different groups running, yet before the finish, the teams Thunder and Lightning had to find there teammate/running mate to finish the event. Awesome turnout with great support from the CVNP employees and volunteers.
As for the results, go to
