It will be held at Buchert Park in Mantua. It does not have a specific address but this may help.
Buchert Memorial Park E High St, Mantua, OH 44255
Most of you heading from the west will come east on 422. Take 44 South (approximately 6.5 miles). (Continue through the light at 82.) In downtown Mantua (by little post office) make a left on East High at the stop light. Park is a quarter mile up on your right.
It is 0.25 mile east of the the State Route 44 and E High Street intersection.

Sounds good! Will teams be allowed? (I'd run both 5k runs and my husband would bike.)?? If not, I'll be there to do it alone. thanks, Kim

maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wlI hope this link will work for an interactive map to the park. Didn't work, just takes you to mapquest. If you type in Buchert Memorial Park, Mantua Ohio 44255 it'll bring up a map. How did I ever find anyplace without the internet??

Kimberleyz, if you or anyone else wants to come out and do it as a team that would not be a problem.

Thanks to everyone that came out and supported CTC's first Headwater's Du! It was a little cool in the morning but warmed up nicely during the race.
Results are posted below!
Run 1 (2.9M) / 15.5 M Bike (incl T1) / Run2 -2.9 Mil (incl T2) / Total Ehren 19.11 / 49.08 / 0 / DNF Bryan 21.32/ 56.82/ 25.36/ 1.43.50-2nd place! Hayes 19.1/ 48.24/ 21 /1.28.34 -1st place! Matt 21.34/ 56.96 /25.72/ 1.44.02 - 3rd palce! Dave 24.53/ 54.82/ 32.04/ 1.51.39
The run course was nice and flat on soft smooth trail. Bike course definitely had a few comments regarding it being "rolling" or I guess you could say there were some hills!
Hope to get a bunch more competitors out there on 10/19. That race does count for the Beast series. Its the best deal in town!!!

Janet, since this was the last Beast race until mid-November, could you do one last interim Beast points update sometime in the next couple of weeks. Thanks.

Steve, I think the men's beast standings probably look like this...
you win!
I hear you'll be receiving a nice prize for taking the title too.
