Aussie Rob showed the best sportmanship I have ever seen in a race. We passed each other back and forth a few times before he pulled over to assist a fellow rider with a flat and still managed to catch back up by the bike finish. Good race everyone.
I heard rumor that Reddy was MIA because of a women? Ironman Training?

As Rob would say "no good deed goes unpunished". He gave the flatted individual his expensive CO2 adapter to assist. The guy turned it in at the end of the race, but, the race officials lost it. So, he's out a $20 gadget. I agree with Brian - what a fanstastic display of sportsmanship. Most of us competitive peeps wouldn't have stopped.

Wow! I didn't know that. Hopefully when I get a flat someone will do the same for me. As we saw this evening, I need to work on my tire changing skills!!!

Thanks Stern, but it's easy to stop and help someone out when you don't feel like you're in contention. Besides, my legs were burning....he was just a good excuse for a rest
