Is there anyone else that loves their coffee as much as I do?
What's the deal with coffee and caffeine?
Are there any ill side effects from coffee when training?
How much liquids should I be drinking throught the day to offset dehydration?
Is there anything else I can drink besides boring water that doesn't have a lot of sugar in it? What do you guys drink throughout the day that's yummy?

PS. I ended up moving to Medina-so far I love it! Hopefully it ends up to be a good choice in the long run...

How much coffee are we talking about? 1-2 cups I think are fine. At work normally I just drink plain water. Sometimes when I'm crazy I'll add a squirt of the lemonade to it. I'm crazy like that.

I starting putting this stuff called True Lemon (you can get it at the grocery store) in my water and it has converted me, a caffeine ADDICT into a water junkie. It has no carbs, no cals, and its just lemon crystals. It has been a life saver for me, because I before I discovered it, I HATED drinking water........

On a hot day during a long ride with fast riders....water is the most delicious substance on the planet to me.

I can't imagine that a "few" cups of coffee a day would hurt your training, but you probably do have to drink enough water (or lemon flavored water!) to offset dehydration. I don't think there is a magic number of glasses - to be blunt - your pee should be light colored and not smell TOO bad!

My "favorite of the week" is mint tea, with peach tea and orange tea running a close second. Another thing I enjoy is icewater with a squirt of lemon or lime juice.
