First of all I would like to thank those of you who have signed up to volunteer this year for the GCT. At this time I am still in need of volunteers. My main focus is to place volunteers at all intersections on the bike courses. There will be police on the course but their job is traffic control not directing the triathletes as to which way to go on the course. If you have friends, family members or are not racing yourself I would greatly appreciate your help on race day. My e-mail is pkent51@msn.com
Thanks,
Pam

Charlie,
Thanks! Talked to Mickey and he thought it would be fun to have you set up to play your music on race day. You can contact him at GCTriathlon@aol.com or330-686-0993. Send me an e-mail if you have any questions.

GCT still needs volunteers for the bike course. Anyone want to come out and be a human directional sign? The racers will be most appreciative. If so, let Pam know (e-mail address above).

I just talked to my coach and although I am signed up for the aquabike he feels I would be better off to do some different workouts this weekend and skip the race.
Therefore I am willing to be a human directional signal for GTC or whatever else you may need me to do. Let me know.

I was kind of hoping for backup singer or one of the guys who gets to catch the girls being passed up from the mosh pit.
