So is anyone gearing up for a nice ride this weekend through the Cuyahoga Valley? I am in for the century ride. My plan is to arrive at the registration open at 7AM and take off shortly after that. Anyone who is interested in joining me, plan to meet on the side road by check in at 7:15.

Anybody interested in riding the century at mach 2? I feel like riding fast and would love some company.

I'm looking for someone to ride the 50 with. I'll be kinda slow on the hills, but 18 to 20 on the flats.

I am looking to average around 21. Which I realize is not really that fast, but for most it's movin'.

So did anyone else think that this year's Sweet Corn Challenge was one of the hardest rides in recent years? I am all about climbing, but my god, I was dropping fbombs every 15 minutes of those 100 miles. Maybe the flatlands of C-bus have made my legs weak.

I only rode the 50 mile course, but indeed, it was downright hilly. Another observation of mine was that all of the fast descents seemed to have an abrubt stop sign/turn shortly after reaching speed, neither of which were marked soon enough. I did hit 47mph heading into Hinkley

I rode the 50, passing on the "killer hills."
I didn't think it was THAT bad. Maybe I was just inspired by Michael Rasmussen's outstanding performance in the Pyrenees.

The Century was agony from mile 60 until the end. All of those hills started to add up and I too was left cursing out loud at say River Road. Hardest ride I have ever done and I am light and fast up the hills.

I rode with Jeff (for the first 65, don't ask), we opted in on the killer hills. Bad idea. Had I know there would be unavoidable killer hills the entire route I would have choosen to skip the dreaded Oak Hill...
