Who else is doing a Cleveland Marathon race?
Edited to say: As those who saw me at the picnic probably guessed, I'm not doing the half-marathon for which I originally registered. I'm hoping I'll be healed in time to walk the 10K. If not, I'll see if they'll take me as a race volunteer.

I'll be there for the half as will Matt. His sister is running her first marathon, so we'll be out cheering on the course after we finish the half.

Well, I was planning on racing, but now that I'm sidelined with a knee injury it's not looking so good. But have fun out there- I hope the weather is MUCH better than last year! Jodi

Just a "heads up" -- University Circle will be a zoo that morning. Case Western Reserve is having Commencement and the Art Museum will be having the last day of its Monet exhibit. Apparently, in the other places the Monet exhibit has visited, the last day's attendance was substantial. I am sick and tired of these d**n college kids and French Impressionists messing up my marathons!

I feel like a slacker stating that I will be running the 10k at Rite Aid this year.

Eric,
I'll see ya at the 10K starting line. At the heart rate you'll be maintaining, "slacker" isn't the word that comes to mind !!
Anyone else gonna get showered up and come back downtown for the tribe game after the race ?? I'm lookin' forward to a big a** Panini sammich and a few adult drinks to replace all that lost energy after the race !!

Derek,
I believe Sara Z will be volunteering at an aid station at mile 6. I got to the expo today and decided to give the full a go so I unfortunately won't be out cheering.
I'll hopefully be running with Janet.
Hope to see you out there!
Elizabeth

CONGRATULATIONS TO JANET EDWARDS on her BOSTON QUALIFYING 3:38.32 and HUGE PR this morning in the Cleveland Marathon! CTC is proud! Great job to all the CTC'ers I saw out there, too! I was lucky enough to see a few (Jen, George, Elizabeth) when I was passing out Powerade at mile 6.4! Looking forward to all the reports!
