Is anyone else doing the race?
I am in for the half, tune-up for Panama City and my wife is doing the Oly du.

I've been planning on the half all year. Been having an ankle issue since last Wednesday. Being cautious and haven't run since then. I'm gonna race the sprint Sunday in Akron (look for the old guy in the speedo), and if it the ankle feels OK, I'll sign up for Pineman/Toyota.
I'd be looking to share a campsite/hotel and driving.

I am also doing the Pineman Half as a tune up for Florida. Also doing the Akron International this weekend. (Oylmpic distance)

Debbie Sidol and I are in for the half. We are bringing a newbie, Melissa, with us, who is doing the mini.
We will also be at the Comfort Inn.
Hope to see everyone there, have a great race!

The swim that wasn't at the great lake escape has left me wanting one more tri for the season. I'm seriously thinking about the half but will wait 'til next week to make the decision. Carpooling / cost share would help swing me into the "I'm in" category, but the health, weather, and family obs. need to line up as well.

I just signed up. Gonna drive down Saturday afternoon and sleep in my van at the race site or in the lodge parking lot. Unless soneone else has a better idea for sharing a ride and hotel.
440-526-4995 if anyone wants to talk about it.

Brent,
You might break the sound barrier down there on your bike. Course is very flat and on some smooth roads from what I've heard!

Its official. Bring on the flatness.
Just an aside, I made an appointment with Dr. Keyes If he can fix my IT band I might do a few races where I actually run next year.
