Does anyone know where to find a listing of time trials in Ohio?
Thanks, Brent

Thanks Rick, those two and the state championship put on by summit freewheelers are the only three I know of. Does anyone know where to find a comprehensive list?

I think Rick gave you the list. There are also usually a couple of TTs on Presque Isle in Erie. The Ohio Bicycling Federation Calendar lists a number of crits for '06 but no time trials. www.ohiocycling.info/OBEC.html

Yes. It was a Rudy Project Syton Supercomp. A thoughtful christmas present from my supportive wife. I really like it. I like the windscreen and the ear covers were nice in the sub 40 degree weather, although they will come off when it gets warmer.

Starting in May either the fourth or the 11th and every Thursday there are time trials held on a weekly basis in Leroy at the five points intersection. it is an eight mile course, four out and back with two turns and a turn around. There is a 150 foot elevation change over the fourth mile before the turn around. A tough hill only because of the location. The competition is pretty good but it features riders of all ability. There is no charge for the event and all are welcome. It is a great location, although out of the way for some. Afterwards, we usually ride another 25 miles.

Ok - now I know why you are looking at time trials cause you are fast. I thought I was moving at a decent clip by my passing of others and not getting passed myself and then, out of nowhere, I remember this freak flying by me going incredibly fast. I was thinking, holy #$@#$!@#$ that dude can ride. All I remembered about the guy was his blue aero helmet....well, that was you - you freak:-) Very nice riding out there...very, very impressive!!

I'm with you Dave. I was happy to not be passed by anyone, even the leaders until their last lap. Then Brent comes by. I finally couldn't see him in front of me anymore. He was flying. I missed the whoosh whoosh sound he makes since he doesn't have disk wheels.
