Who is planning on Powerman Ohio May 21st. This is the same day as the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon.
I'm using this as a training race for IM USA.

I am trying to wrestle the car from my wife so I can go down and train on the Mohican short-course. Not really a fair fight because she's tiny and I can easily woop her ;-) No really, I'm probably going to be there but not guaranteed and I haven't yet signed-up. Also, FRR is doing the Vineyard Live Well Triathlon the following week - whoever heard of a tri in NEOH in May!? Great way to get an early start to your tri-season.

I'm going to do the Mohican 'short' course duathlon. Checking in to see who's planning on going down the morning of the race? It's about 2hr drive from the Eastside, I can drive, I've got dual roof rack, and it will save us half on gas.

Hi: I just saw this posting. I plan on doing Powerman Ohio. I drove there this past Saturday and did the biking portion. It is a very nice course until you hit Garver Road. OMgosh! I didn't approach it right the first time but then I was a bit more prepared for it the second time and I made it up without walking the bike. I can't believe I am going to have to do that twice on Sunday. Also, I noticed there was a bridge have construction work done on it and it didn't look like a week we be sufficient to complete it. Who knows? I think I will call and ask what is up with that. I rode over the bridge that was just metal grates.

I got this message from FRR this morning.
BIKE COURSE NOTICE
There is a repair under repair on the bike course. Due to weather delays the bridge will not be resurfaced until Friday, May 19. However, the concrete requires approx 3 days to cure for auto traffic. The bridge will be OPEN only for the races and during the race times! YEAH! If you plan on riding the course on Friday or Saturday, you will need to walk your bike across the bridge.
