Starting this Friday (February 3), join Fred Cousin for a weekly hill workout. Meet at 6 PM by the picnic shelter at Sweetwater Landing in Rocky River Reservation.
For the first week, the group will warm-up for a mile, do 3 hill repeats and warm-down for a mile. Warm up and warm down distances as well as the repeats will vary as we progress in the year.
Wear reflective or light colored clothing, because it will be dark. Gatorade provided.
These sessions are intended for newbies but runners of all levels are encouraged to join.
If you have any questions, please e-mail Fred at frederic.cousin@compassnow.com.
Jen
P.S. Fred, if you have anything to add, please do!

Bump ;D A reminder to the newbies that we will hold the hills sessions tonight at 6:00 pm. Format: - 1 mile warm up to the hill together. - Based on last week's workout, once at the hill, it is a free for all. Run as many hills as you want, at a pace that fits you. We have a lot of different levels so we might as well keep it loose. I will stick to the slowest runner. - 1 mile warm down back to the parking lot. We will leave the hill together, nobody left behind. See you all there tonight. The streets are dry...no excuses Fred

Hi everyone, The Feb 24th hills run might conflict with the members meeting at Bike Authority the same night. So I propose to either reschedule at 5:00 pm (same arrangement) or cancel to allow members (including me to attend the meeting. Let me know if there is an interest in the run and if 5:00 pm would work. Fred

Fred,
I will not be able to make it to RR by 5:00 since I leave work at 4:30. I am also thinking about attending the meeting at Bike Authority so Feb. 24 doesn't look to good for me.

Thanks Dave... Last night was great. A lot of fun. Sam, Jenn (my wife), Brooks and myself were there.
Next Friday, I'll be shredding the slopes of Breckenridge Colorado on my board ( ;D) so Brooks will take over.
I'll be back the following Friday, Peace, Fred
