That's right.....the new year is upon us. What a better way to start then to burn up the hams a bit with some hill running. So, come down to the Canal Visitor Center at the Towpath and meet some new friends while you burn away all those holiday empty carbs. I originally posted this run on the training opp. section of the forum but this run is open to all and especially intended for all the Newbies out there......so come out for an enjoyable run. Check out the link in the training opp. section of the forum for directions. We'll meet in the parking lot at 10:00am - look forward to seeing everyone there!!

Well, forcast calls for it to be a bit chilly, so make sure to layer. Anyhow, tommorrow should be a nice run - hope to see a good group out there!!

Sorry to everyone who showed up on time. I got lost... even downloaded a map from the NPS web site. Maybe I should cross "adventure racing" off my todo list! Anyway, I ran 6 0n the towpath anyway and may have seen a few of you out there. I was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and neon yellow gloves. You may also have seen me go "ass over teakettle" on the icy patch at the detour near mile marker 13. In spite of the mishaps it was a great day for the run and since I work in Beachwood I think I've found yet another wonderful place to train. Hope to actually meet you some day and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
