One of my committee members, Becky, will be leading the next newbies session. It will be a brick (15 mile bike ride followed by a 3 mile run) starting from Hinckley reservation at 8:30 am on Saturday, August 27. This will be a great workout in preparation for the Portage Lakes race, which is a hilly bike ride.

Just a reminder about the brick workout on Saturday. Join Becky at 8:30 am or come earlier at 8:00 AM to join Angie for some extra riding.

hi! I am a newbie, have just joined the CTC and am looking forward to my first sprint triathlon. I am wondering if there are any more newbie training sessions planned? also looking for someone to train with on the southwest side, berea area? thanks!

Karen and the rest of the newbies group,
I'm sorry there haven't been any September sessions. Matt and I just moved this past weekend, so the focus went there instead. Andrew is planning to ride on Saturday morning in Peninsula and I plan to join him. Newbies and others, please join us for the ride and then come to the picnic in the afternoon.
