Cleveland Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K bonus prizes for wearing your Vertical Runner gear
Since there were so many Vertical Runners out there, we decided to throw in some extra bonus prizes…

Track Workouts will be every Tuesday at Western Reserve Academy at 6:15pm
If you wish to get in a 1-2 mile warm up before getting to the track, we will run from the store to the WRA track at 6:00pm www.wra.net/
We will meet every Tuesday and all levels and abilities are welcome
Each week's workout will be posted at the Vertical Runner Message Board
Women's Only Group Run will begin at 6:00pm at Lock 29 in Peninsula
The run will be on the Towpath and the distance will range from 4-6 miles
The group will meet every Wednesday Night

The Trail Running 101 Group will meet next on Monday, June 5th at 6:00pm at Pine Lane off of Rt. 303
This is a great group run for those new to trail running and for those interested in exploring local trails
Group will run 45 minutes to 1 hour, but there are always options to go shorter or longer

Trail of the Month for June is the Buckeye Trail located at Oak Grove Picnic Area in Brecksville
This is an out and back run and is also the start/finish line for the Buckeye Trail 50K, which will take place on Saturday July 29th
To add some variety to the run, mix in some of the great trails that the Brecksville Metro Park has to offer
With so many trails to pick from, let the trail of the month be your guide to the best area trail runs!!!

Please join us for the 3rd Annual Race for the Parks this Saturday, June 3rd
8:30am - 1 Mile Kid's Race and 1 Mile Fun Walk
9:00am - 4 Mile Race for the Parks
The 4 mile race course provides a scenic loop around Hudson
This is the second race of six that make up the Hudson Clocktower Race Series

Fall 2006 Training Group
The Vertical Runner Training Group is ready to get you ready for Akron!!!
Whether you are looking to participate in the marathon or the team relays our training group has a place for you!!!
The Vertical Runner Training Group is also for those of you interested in training for other fall marathons or half marathons
Targeted events include River Run Half Marathon, Buckeye Half Marathon, and Towpath Marathon
There are many other non-local events to train for in the fall, so if you are interested in one that is not listed above, you can still join the training group
If you are interested in joining the training group, please contact us at the store to set up a time to come by so that we can get you started
We are asking that anyone wishing to join the training group does so by June 1st
The kick-off group run will occur Saturday June 3rd at the Race for the Parks in Hudson
This is a 4 mile race, so for those of you that prefer to run longer, we will meet at the Hudson Green before the race to get in some extra miles
