for the past 8 weeks I have been working out at a medium level with a lot of hours in the weight room, my diet has not exactly perfect and was considering a short term detox diet before i switch gears and start into the heavy cardio portion of my workouts. I was wondering if anyone has done one of these in the past? is this a good time to do the diet ? I was going to do a basic juice detox but any info a diets you were on would be helpful. thanks

A good alternative to the classic detox diet is an internal cleanse. There are two types. A intestinal cleanse and an organ/blood cleanse. They are both done with natural products and don't involve fasting. I've used this brand in the past and try to do this every two years. You can train normally doing this. www.drnatura.com/The intestinal program is called Colonix The organ/blood program is called Toxinout
