I know we have a good sized group going to KY in 09.
Even if you have posted that you are going before - please re-post here. Include phone # and email address if you want to be included on my (and anyone elses) distributions lists.
Get ready for the oppressive heat & humidity!!!

1 of 3,000 Should be a very interesting out and back on the bike. Bring on the heat it slows everybody down and makes me look faster. Looking at the Marriott to stay. Liked the Gault House but the pool sucked for the kids.

Ha ha I think you're pretty much right...although I'm about 1 inch taller, 20 lbs. heavier and waaaaayyyyyy further back in the pack. No compression socks, arm coolers, sponsors, carbon frames, power taps, or sub 9:00 IM's yet either. I did purchase a white top and hat to race in last year.

Durno...totally cool you will be heading down. Will you be on the 'shot per hour' schedule of last year?

I'm still looking for someone to share a room and driving if there is any interest. I'd prefer to room with a female but driving doesn't matter. References available! Ironfans welcome....especially since my own prefer to stay home.

I will also be there as an IronFan and can also act as Marks designated driver if he chooses the shot an hour regimen.

The only IV I plan on will be at the Makers Mark bar.
Jack might want to cover the car seats in plastic.

For all the IronFans -- be sure to make t-shirts! Everyone there seemed to have t-shirts supporting their favorite Ironman. We did it for Katy last year, and loved it! I wish I could be an IronFan this year...but alas, I have school
